Waiting list sign-ups are stored in the database of the Quantesy server, hosted by Cloudflare. You can ask at any time for your sign-up to be deleted by writing to info@quantesy.com.
Strategies, trades and AI key
Your strategies, trades, notes and research archive stay on your computer, on both Mac and Windows. Your AI key is stored in the macOS Keychain or in Windows Credential Manager. When you start an analysis or a coding session, the necessary metrics and texts are sent directly to your key's provider (Anthropic or Google), which processes them under its own contract and privacy policy.
License check
If your license was issued automatically with a subscription, about once a day the app sends the text of the license you are using and the random code of the computer, created by the app at first activation, to the Quantesy server (quantesy.com, hosted by Cloudflare). The license contains your email, plan, expiry, issue date and the license and subscription IDs. The server replies with the most recent license for the same subscription, for example after a renewal or a plan change, and the app replaces the old one after verifying its signature.
Nothing else is sent: no strategies, trades, notes or research archive, no AI key and no data about how you use the app. As with any internet connection, the server sees your computer's IP address. Check requests are not stored: the server keeps the licenses issued, the subscription status and, for each activated computer, the date of last contact. Without a connection the app keeps working until the license expires. Licenses we send you manually by email are not checked.
Who we share data with
Only with providers that help us deliver the service and act as data processors: Cloudflare (hosting of the website, the license server and the waiting list) and Resend (sending the service emails, including the one with the activation key; emails that could not be sent wait in a queue in the Quantesy server database on Cloudflare and are resent automatically). For payments, Stripe and Link SMP (Sold through Link, LLC), which handle the payment through the Managed Payments service, process your data as independent controllers, under their own privacy policy (link.com/privacy). We do not sell your data.
Transfers outside the European Union
If a provider processes data outside the European Union, the transfer relies on the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@quantesy.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority in your country.
Cookies
The site uses only technical cookies and storage needed for it to work, and no third-party profiling or analytics cookies. For this reason we do not ask for cookie consent. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this page and ask for your consent.
The site's fonts are hosted on our own server, with no connection to third-party services.
