Terms and conditions

Last updated: 2 November 2026
Version 1.1

1. Who provides the service

Quantesy is provided by Emanuele Zanchi, based at Via Giulio Vegni 29, 20825 Barlassina (MB), Italy, email info@quantesy.com ("we"). These terms govern the use of the Quantesy website and app, including Strategy Analyst and Quant Researcher ("the service").

2. What the service does

Quantesy calculates statistical metrics on the trade lists you import, applies a validation protocol and helps you search and analyse research papers. Verdicts such as "Edge confirmed", "To be verified" or "No edge" describe the statistical quality of the data you provided.

The service is not financial advice and does not recommend buying, selling or holding any financial instrument. Trading decisions remain yours. Please also read the risk warning.

3. Personal subscription

To use the service you need a personal subscription, which you take out with your email on the Stripe checkout page. There is no online account with a password. Your plan is activated in the app with your email and the activation key you receive by email: the key is personal and can be used on 2 computers (more on request to info@quantesy.com). You must be at least 18 and provide accurate details. The subscription and the license are personal and may not be transferred or shared.

You accept these terms on the Stripe checkout page and again in the app, at first activation, together with the User agreement and limitation of liability. We record the date, the version of the documents accepted and the computer.

4. Plans, free trial and renewal

5. Payments

Prices shown on the site exclude VAT: your country's VAT or sales tax is calculated and added on the checkout page, where you see the final price before confirming.

Payments are handled by Stripe through its Managed Payments service. On the checkout page and on the receipt the purchase shows as "Sold through Link": the amount is charged by Link SMP (Sold through Link, LLC), which provides this Stripe service, and Stripe calculates, collects and remits VAT and other indirect taxes in the countries where the service covers them. The contract for the Quantesy service is concluded with us. Receipts and invoices reach you by email from Link. Your bank statement shows "LINK.COM*" followed by the name of the service. The Quantesy service itself is provided by us, and we are responsible for it. We do not store your full card details.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract, that is from the start of the subscription (even if it starts with the free trial), without giving a reason. You can do so by writing to info@quantesy.com or through Link support (support.link.com), giving "withdrawal period" as the reason; Link counts the 14 days from when you access the service. You can also use the model withdrawal form provided by the Italian Consumer Code (Annex I, Part B), but it is not mandatory. If you withdraw during the free trial you pay nothing. If you asked to use the service during the withdrawal period and withdraw after a payment, we refund the price paid minus the share corresponding to the days already used (article 57 of the Italian Consumer Code).

You can also ask Link support (support.link.com) for a refund; each request is assessed case by case. In certain cases Stripe can refund within 60 days of the payment, for example if the digital product was not delivered, is substantially different from its description, or the payment was unauthorised or charged twice.

7. Your AI key

Strategy analysis and coding use the key of an artificial intelligence provider (Anthropic or Google) that you enter. Use of that key is governed by the contract between you and the provider, which charges you directly. We are not responsible for the costs, limits or outages of the provider you chose.

8. Fair use

Unlimited quotas apply to personal, reasonable use. You may not resell the service, share your subscription or license, run automations that generate mass requests or try to bypass plan limits. In these cases we may suspend the license after notifying you.

9. License to use the app

With your subscription we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Quantesy app on up to 2 of your computers (more if we agree), for the duration of the subscription and within the limits of your plan. You do not buy the software or any right in it beyond this license.

You may not, directly or through others:

Every license is digitally signed and contains your email address; the activation key is tied to your subscription: a license or a key that circulates outside your personal use can be traced back to you.

10. Intellectual property and protection of the idea

Quantesy is an original work. The following belong to Emanuele Zanchi:

They are protected by copyright, trademark and unfair competition law. Using the service does not transfer any of these rights to you.

By accepting these terms you agree not to:

You are free to talk about Quantesy, review it and show your results, including individual screenshots, as long as this does not allow it to be replicated.

Non-public information you receive, such as preview features, development plans or the license format, is confidential: you may not disclose it without our written consent.

If you send us suggestions or ideas to improve the service, we may use them freely, with no obligation to you.

These commitments remain in force after your subscription ends. In case of breach we may ask a court to stop it, including by urgent measures, and claim damages.

11. Your content

The strategies, trades and notes you enter remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to provide the service.

12. Fraud and abuse prevention

To protect the service and the people who pay for it fairly, these rules apply:

If we establish fraud or serious abuse we may immediately suspend the licenses, even without notice, and then cancel the subscription. We do not refund amounts relating to the period used fraudulently. We reserve the right to claim damages and to report the facts to the competent authorities, including the Italian Postal Police.

For these checks we use subscription, issued license and payment data, as described in the privacy policy. Our electronic records (license issuance, payments, acceptance of these terms) may be used as evidence.

If you think someone is using your license, subscription or payment method, write to us immediately.

13. Liability

We provide the service with care, but calculations depend on the data you import and automated analyses may contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses or lost profits arising from use of the service. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Liability is set out in detail in the User agreement and limitation of liability, which prevails over these terms on this subject.

14. Changes, suspension and termination

We may update these terms by emailing you at least 30 days before any material change. You can end the relationship at any time by cancelling your subscription from the Stripe customer portal or from link.com; you can also deactivate your computers under Account → Subscription and ask for your data to be deleted at info@quantesy.com.

If you breach articles 8, 9, 10 or 12 we may suspend your licenses and subscription. In serious cases we may terminate the contract with immediate effect by notifying you by email (article 1456 of the Italian Civil Code). In other cases we notify you first and give you time to remedy the breach.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction, and the mandatory protections of your country of residence still apply. In all other cases the courts of Monza (Italy) have exclusive jurisdiction. If the English and Italian versions differ, the Italian version prevails.

16. Specific approval

Under articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code you specifically approve articles 4 (automatic renewal), 8 (fair use), 9 (license to use), 10 (intellectual property and confidentiality), 12 (fraud prevention), 14 (suspension and termination) and 15 (jurisdiction for non-consumers), with the dedicated tick box you find in the app at first activation, separate from the one with which you accept these terms. If you are a consumer, the protections of articles 33-38 of the Italian Consumer Code still apply.
